What is Stacks
Stacks is an engaging learning and collaboration platform committed to making it easy for young New Zealanders to 'Raise their Money Game’ and build strong money skills for life. It’s different to all other financial education platforms:
- Stacks is NOT a Snorefest – financial jargon / products can be super complex. Stacks transforms financial concepts into bite-sizes of info using humour, video, audio, imagery and clever animations to explain this stuff simply.
- It’s your ‘safe space’ online when it comes to learning about money management – we review and verify all content to ensure you get the truth, and nothing but the truth, so you can trust your next money steps.
- It’s a place where your friends, whanau and teachers can go to get all your money questions answered.
This first version of Stacks has a number of bite sized video learning modules, followed by a short quiz so you can test your grasp of the money concept. There are also a number of questions and answers so you can quickly answer any questions you might have about money. We have big plans for Stacks so keep an eye out as we develop it further, adding more content and functionality.
Who is PMG Charitable Trust?
The PMG Charitable Trust has been set up to build the financial literacy and financial futures of young New Zealanders using innovative ways (technology and offline activities) to educate, inform and inspire behaviour change when it comes to managing money. PMG Charitable Trust and its funders are the organisation leading the development of Stacks.
